Decks, Patio Covers and Pergolas in Arlington and DFW

A North Texas backyard is unusable from June to September without shade. We build the decks, covers and pergolas that give you those months back.

What We Do

  • Wood and composite decks
  • Attached and freestanding patio covers
  • Cedar and metal pergolas
  • Stairs, railing and lighting
  • Privacy and perimeter fences

Shade first

West-facing patios in Tarrant County can sit well above 100 degrees by late afternoon. Orientation, roof tie-ins and post placement matter more than finishes. We design around the sun before we talk about stain colours.

Outdoor Living Questions

Do I need a permit for a patio cover?

Most cities in our area require one for attached covers. We handle the paperwork.

Wood or composite?

Cedar is warmer and cheaper up front. Composite costs more but needs far less upkeep in Texas sun. We price both.

Can a patio cover tie into my existing roof?

Yes. Because we are roofers, the tie-in is flashed properly so it does not become your next leak.

When is the best time to build?

Fall and winter. You get the space ready before summer and schedules are shorter.
